Shirley Singleton for training in presentation skills

Saturday, February 20th, 2010

I deliver short courses for AIRAH in their Building Code of Australia (BCA) Seminars (and, with Stuart McLennan, assess the BCA unit in AIRAH’s  Graduate Certificate of Air Conditioning Code Compliance). Carolyn Hughes the RTO and Education Manager at AIRAH, organised some terrific training for the presenters and assessors at AIRAH last year. This year’s training was also good, but it just higlighted how much I enjoyed Shirley’s two day workshop on presenting.

The testimonials on Shirely’s web site demonstrate just how much she gives and you will get from her training. I highly recommend Shirley.

PS I just found out on LinkedIn that she is writing a(nother) book (and completing her MBA.) I am still throwing the chocolates Shirley!

It’s better to avoid it if possible.”

The discussion that follows was about all the traditional things that a consultant might do to change that culture e.g. change the performance review system, the rewards packages, the training programs. But Peter had a really interesting response: (more…)
